Intermittently when trying to start the car it will not turn over, absolutely nothing happens,no click of the starter no turning over of the engine etc, this could go on for a couple of tries or twenty odd, but it eventually starts and runs no problems.

I got a 2001 Mk1 Focus and experiencing the same problems. When it first appeared 2 months ago I had the speed sensor replaced and it solved the problem but it is back again and the guys in my garage can't find the problem, checked the speed sensor again, managed to get a new instrument cluster as well, checked the cables etc. but the problem
