I have done 32k in the two years of ownership. Citroen UK are refusing to replace the crumbling seat stating that it is fair wear and tear considering the car has done almost 70k, despite the car only being 4 years old. Citroen obviously don't expect their car seats to last a reasonable lifetime of the vehicle and they feel that this is acceptable.

There is only one Citroen dealer in my whole state, and Australia wide there are something less than 1000 C4's sold per annum. This makes the used parts market almost non-existant as a repair option. Thanks in advance for your collective wisdom.
The mechanic who removed the seat for me last night thought it wasn't going to come out because he took the 4 Torx bolts out but the seat belt was still attached to the seat and the plastic seat trim stopped ya getting to the bolt to remove it but after raising the seat with the lever it gave good access and there was another Torx bolt holding
I have had this problem about 15 times now in 3 different c4s . one coupe and one hatch and my vts now, was always scared to death at the start but theres an easy fix if your willing to try a bit of brute force . Sit in the seat and hold down the lever to ajust the seat forward and backwards.

There seems to be conflicting info on the web about wether you can use an isofix car seat base, because of the leg that comes down to support the base. Which would obviously be sited at the point in the floor which has the little door flap. I have tried the relevant sites to check compatibility and there are no tests done to provide the info.

I've since found a similar problem listed in the 'Garage' section of this forum and someone has posted diagrams of the seat assembly with some instructions which I've downloaded. I know you said Citroen don't do the parts separately but the spring apparently has a part number (0000)8916GT @£14.50 + VAT and is it just a case of getting a garag WGZQtuR.
