Can anyone advise how much oil I should put in when doing an oil change? The handbook says that the engine oil capacity is 5.5l including oil filter and 5.0l not including the oil filter however I assume this is to the MAX mark on the dipstick?

On many forums from the Honda Civic to the Ford Transit, claims are being made that adding 2 stroke oil to the diesel improves mpg, performance, as well as other benefits such as the engine running quieter. Low ash oil is recommend, but some people put any 2 stroke oil in.
