I have a Carlinkit 3.0 that works very well on my 2016 GMC Sierra with wired Apple Carplay. I just bought a 2023 Genesis GV80 with wired Apple Carplay and a Carlinkit 4.0. After installation that went as expected, the Carlinkit 4.0 initially performed well, but after driving for about 15 minutes, the connection to the Carlinkit 4.0 was lost.

Just picked up a 2019 (69 plate) Mazda 6, GT Sport Nav +. Dealer stated it came with Apple Carplay but I cannot find it in the menus despite lots of looking. Also, plugging iphone into the USB port doesn't commence the carplay system as per the Mazda website guidance. Now whatever you are showing in navigation for Android Auto & Apple Carplay will appear in the heads up display just like it would for using Mazda's navigation.
